TRANSCEND EGO

The process of transcending one’s ego in order to gain new spiritual perspectives & enlightenment, does not involve destroying the ego, but rather not identifying with it, you are not your ego, just as you are not your thoughts. These are all illusory constructs & phenomena & as the saying goes, both are good servants, but lousy masters. This transcendence is a shift from identifying with the individual finite ego to the identification with the infinite soul & the universal consciousness in order to see the perfect beauty of the universe, which also results in the transcendence of individual suffering. The overflowing golden lotuses in the artwork are symbolic of this process of transcendence & represent the overflowing beautiful perfection that is all around.
